Program

ll our activities are included in the price of your stay, except the following:
Activities about the Middle Ages for children aged 5 to 12 years according to their maturity and the programme.
Activities about the Middle Ages for teenagers aged 13 to 17 years according to their maturity and the programme.

La Rivière campsite offers very varied activities and entertainment in a warm and friendly environment. You will be welcomed into our great camping family to guarantee the success of your holiday. We are attentive to your needs and will advise you in your choice of visits.

Welcome drink

We organise a gathering at the bar every Sunday lunchtime, for a welcome drink and to present a detailed programme of the week’s activities.

You will be able to taste a rosé wine from the Lot served at the Brasserie, along with a piece of the delicious gingerbread sold at the Bee Museum (Maison des Abeilles).

We organise a petanque tournament on Sunday afternoonThis is an informal leisure event where you can get to know everyone.

A meeting for children and teenagers

Children can meet up in the afternoon and get to know each other.

At around 9.00 pm, there is a cinema evening for all in the ‘Hangar’, where everyone should bring their own seat. From 9.30 to 11.00 pm, it’s the teenagers’ turn to meet up and socialise.

Our activity leader will suggest activities from Sunday to Friday (except on dance evenings), for example: Blind Test; Just Dance; a manhunt; an evening on the banks of the Dordogne, etc…

Weekly activity program

Monday

  • 10.30 am to noon (Monday to Friday): Children’s activities: treasure hunts, ‘Olympics’, sports events, craft workshops (small contribution to costs), etc…
  • Approx. 6.00 pm: Sports event: volleyball match, table tennis or football or badminton tournament.
  • Every Monday evening from 9.30 pm to 00.30 am: : Dance evening with a professional DJ, for all.

Tuesday

  • 10.30 am to noon: Children’s activities.
  • From 10.00 am: Farm visit (geese and duck breeding, demonstration of force-feeding, tasting and sale of products).
  • From 6.00 to approx. 7.30 pm: Sports event.
  • From 9.30 to 11.00 pm: Evening event for teenagers.

Wednesday

  • 10.30 am to noon: Children’s activities.
  • Afternoon (please book, meet at 2.00 pm): Canoe trip (paying activity). A bus will take you to Gluges, 15 km upstream along the river. This is another way to discover our region and its unique and protected nature. You will arrive at the campsite’s landing stage towards the end of the afternoon (2 to 3 hours depending on your speed). This is a very popular activity.
  • Early evening: Sports event.
  • From 9.30 to 11.00 pm: Evening event for teenagers.

    Thursday

    • 10.30 am to noon: Children’s activities.
    • From 9.00 am to noon: Hike to discover nature, the fauna and flora, and regional heritage (very popular activity).
    • From 6.00 to approx. 7.30 pm: Sports event.
    • Evening: Quality show from singers and musicians.

    Friday

    • 10.30 am to noon: Children’s activities.
    • From 6.00 to approx. 7.30 pm: Sports event.
    • From 9.30 to 11.00 pm: Leaving event for teenagers.

    There are no activities on Saturday due to arrivals and departures.

    Children take part in the activities are under the sole responsibility of their parents.
    The children are free to leave the activity if they wish to do so.

    Twice in the season, an initiation to fishing activity is available for children aged 8 to 12 years. Activity leaders are brought into the campsite every year to undertake workshops (contribution to costs), details not yet available.
    The programme of activities may change depending on circumstances beyond our control.
